Caller: Microsoft Scammer

Has called multiple times saying they are from Microsoft and our computer IP address has been hacked. Asks for access to our computer. We don’t have a Microsoft subscription!

I called back number 0480 034 296 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

6 calls today (Mon.), 5 calls Saturday, 2 calls Thurs., 8 on Tues., and etc. etc. I have blocked this number on my mobile phone, but every now and then I check the blocked calls I have received. I have received 28 calls from this number in the past 10 days. This is b..... ridiculous!!

This is one of many numbers they use, both Australian and overseas numbers, you can tell by the prefix. They will tell you that someone has accessed your network and you are at risk. Microsoft warns that it is a scam.

is this number from an overseas virtual provider? India maybe? Most scams came from there
