Enquiring about my bill details

Caller: 0480 004 983

Indian accent, no introduction just said ma'am have you received the electricity price change list yet. Clearly looking to get personal details. I said do not call me and hung up and blocked the number.

Hang up when I answered. Called back and got " that is not a valid extension"

Caller: Electricity scam

Called asking for my bill details so I decided to mess with him asking for his name and birthday and bank account details before telling him outright that I wasn’t going to disclose my personal information and not to call me again.

Rang and left no message - scammer or telemarketer i assume

Hung up. Returned all and said something about destination congestion.

Odd looking number (mobile?) came through to home phone (NBN)... hung-up as soon as voicemail kicked in. Have blocked.

Caller: No idea

I have had numerous missed calls from this number today, I have no idea who it is as there was no voicemail left.

Didn't answer the call and when I decided to block the number it comes up invalid?!!!

Said I was entitled to a discount on my electricity bill due to the "COVID-19 situation". I haven't had a bill in my name for 10 years.

Power Deal. Wanted to do a free comparison for my electricity and gas bills. I said no. It took a few times of saying "no" before they understood I really meant "no".

Caller wanted information about our Gas and Electricity bill and hang up on me when I said I would not be giving any personal information to someone who calls me over the phone. Obvious scammer.

They are a SCAM wanting credit card details etc
