Caller: Scam call allegedly from PayPal Text message from 0478 649 731 stating #Dear Customer; You’ve made a payment of AU$1399.99 @ P.P.Intel*VIM for Card on 2021/JUNE/09. If not you Dial: +61-1800-56-91-01 for DISPUTE REPORT. Rang 1800 number spoke to a person identifying themselves as PayPal telling me that a Dean Maxwell had taken money from my account. Could not tell me my name. Could not provide answers to my questions concerning my PayPal account nor could they advise why they didn’t send an email as per usual.
