Caller: Saying that they were from NSW police service

I couldn't understand too much as he was talking 100 miles an hour. But he wanted to talk to someone in charge of our particular club that I go to. I told him that I was a section of club but he wanted someone in charge of the club. Because I wasn't he hang up

I work as a Police Officer in WA, I have received multiple complaints relating to this number in the past month. Please do not give out your personal details. If the person on the other end claims to be a police officer or spokesperson for police, request their badge or police ID number. If they claim to be a part of a neighbourhood watch program, please request the name of their police liaison officer or local area command/station.

Sounds like a scam. The other number was 0478 285 747. I will be blocking

Also had someone claiming to be police on this number. The call got cut off before I heard anymore, came straight here and have since blocked the number.

Said his name was Grant, asked if I own a particular business and I said yes then he hung up.

both calls 0478 285 746 and 0478 287 458 saying something about poluice and books,, asking for my business name.. i told them to call back and then i blocked there number cos i didnt understand the guy

aussie lady with well to do or posh accent called our office last year and again this year jan 2020 trying to push her way through to clinch a sale she can be very uppity and very rude.i keep asking is this sales and if so she needs to send email she refuses .i then ask for a return number she refuses .dodgey as scam scam scam!!!!

An Australian woman Pretending to be from the police, asking if we want to pay $800 to put our advert on the police journal in February next year. So obviously a scam. Heard it on the news recently that there are a lot of scams going around NSW recently so be wary!!

Protended that they are calling on behalf of police neighbourhood watch. And they are collecting money for printing for smarthandbook something like that.

Scam.
Block the number.
If they reach you again from a different number contact police.

Wanted sponsorship from businesses for neighbourhood watch and police project.

Caller: Hamish

Pretended to be from the Police and Neighborhood Watch. Clearly had no idea who they expected to pick up as they asked if it was the business rather than a certain individual. Recommend blocking the number.

A lady called me saying calling from police and saying r u owner of something which i couldn’t understand. And called them back but didn’t answer .

Wanting to speak with business owner, being myself. Called a friend. I couldn’t reach when I tried to call. Some sort of scam ??

Someone from this number called me and said he was from the police and asked if I was in head office. I couldn't quite understand him so I hung up.
