Same as all of the above. Female with Indian accent, claiming to be from Telstra technical department. I interrupted her and asked how she had my unlisted number and I wasn't with Telstra. She hung up. I blocked the number.

Just had a call on our business landline from this number telling me that I will have my internet cut off for the next 16 days because some hackers got into my internet and disconnected my line or some stupid thing. He then said to go into my computer and delete event viewer straight away!!! Idiot - I told him I will ring Telstra myself and find out what was going on with my line!! I hung up on him.

Some very slow witted Indian or Pakistani. You'd think by now that these idiots would have worked out that the Telstra Internet scam doesn't work

Called but merely said "Hullo" and hung up as soon as I answered (with my name and company). Possibly Indian accent.

Called on both home and mobile. I didn’t answer. Called back the number said it wasn’t connected. After reading all the comments I’m Waiting for the next call back might have a bit of fun with them. 😂😂😂

Caller, a female with Indian accent, said she was from the Telstra Technical department. I quickly said "I'm not with Telstra, so f*** off" and hung up. Not sure where they got my number as it's unlisted. I suspect they purchased an illegally generated mailing list from a genuine India based call centre with staff members who steal customer data and sell it..

Called my work phone number (large semi-government organisation). He asked me if I was the main owner of the internet here. I was tempted to say yes but told him that he had called a large business. He hung up.

Got a second call from the same number followed by silence and then an automated "goodbye".

Telstra Technical Dept. Knowing it was a scam call I just hung up after saying Telstra was supposed to call & fix the problem 2 weeks ago.

Said they were from Telstra Technical and did I know that my phone would be disconnected for 30 days. When questioned why they hung up. Female with an Indian accent, seems instructions from the background.SCAMMERS

"Alex from Telstra" regarding my computer, told him that's bullsh*t stop calling me and got told to "shut up you f*cking wanker" before hanging up on me...

As i was typing this i got another call from the same number - this time it was silence for a bit then automated "goodbye"

the number that called me was 0459 877 377.
someone who identified themselves as a Telstra tech sup said my internet would be disconnected for 30 days due to hacking activity. I wasn't fooled as I am with iprimus. scam

Scammer telling me they were from Telstra and going to cut our Internet Connection.
Hundreds of calls over half an using an automatic dialer.

This DH is still at it. Call your telephone company and get the number blocked!

Dodgy Telstra phone call asking for access to my computer. Male voice, said his name was Alex William calling from Telstra in Melbourne. Started asking for my details and I said if you have my number shouldn't you know my details and they hung up. Telstra should track these dodgy people down and sue them for fraud/impersonating a Telstra employee.

I just received a call from this number - supposedly Telstra, saying that I have a problem with my internet. I politely said to them that if I had a problem with my internet, I would contact my telco. I know you're a scam & don't call me back or I will contact the police.

Them:Hello this is Anna from Telstra Technical Department.
Me: Cool. What's my account number?
HANGUP. She'll probably call back when she finds her list :)

Called yesterday claiming they were from telstra and the security on my internet connection had been breached and they will need to turn off my internet for 30 days. Obviously I was very suspicious. Then she told me if I jumped on my computer now she could walk me through how to fix it.

I told her I was busy and would call Telstra back at a convenient time. She laughed and said ok then hung up.

This is not telstra. Telstra always notify everything in writing.

I wonder how many people have been stung by these scammers.
