Told him I was from Telstra and I would fix my computer myself, gave him a blessing for his kindness, he left speachless

Said they were from Telstra. "Internet disruptions for the next few days so open your computer" - End of conversation for me - same old scam.

Silent number means nothing, it is still just a combination of numbers to the spammers, they don't abide by the rules remember.

Telstra told me it is a scam. Interested to know how they got my number as it is unlisted and silent - so much for security.

Called 6 times in less than 5 minutes. Saying they are from Telsta and something about internet connection. Couldn't understand him and he got annoyed at me - hung up and blocked number.

Called our business multiple times & hung up each time.

They rang my work about 12 times in an hour. An Indian answered claiming to be from telstra tech department and was calling about our internet connection. I said that we have someone who looks after all that. He then hung up. Been getting calls ever since that. Even tried to tell him to stop spamming us, on one of the occasions that someone was on the other end. Some of the other times it was an auto dial to see if anyone answered. It just says “goodbye”. Wish they would piss off.

Keep ringing and then say from Telstra and threatening disconnection unless I give them credit details

Said they are calling from Telstra to disconnect the internet for 15 days. Frade Call and try to get access to your computer, block the call.

Had this person ring me yesterday and claimed to be from Telstra.....When I put him on hold I contacted Telstra and told them about this person, they informed me there was no such person working for them.

When I returned back to his call to inform him he was not an official Telstra employee and that he was a scammer he quickly hung up.

A man with strong Indian accent trying to defraud me. Talking about internet was going to be switched off. The one question I asked him he couldn’t answer then suddenly hang up.

Stated that was from Telstra technical department and informed that internet would be disconnected due to corrupted file.
Started to question name, department, reason and length of disconnection.
Responded that I would call back and Michael hung up immediately

This number has rung my work phone 10 times over the last 3 days and consistently hang up on me. Now that I have read this page - next time they are going to get a mouthful!

This number is still trying. Knew they are all scams so didn't answer.

They claimed they were about to cut off our computers for 15 days and all we needed to do was give them our password to the computer and they'd fix it for us. How on earth do we the normal working people stop these ars*wipes from hassling us and making threats.....and they are quite intimidating and threatening.....what do the poor innocents do that don't have the capacity to either hang up on them or say 'f' off.

Rang my silent number and hung up when I answered. I rang back the number shown on Caller ID and got a not listed auto reply.
