On 10th f February was called by 0459 525 733 and was told by the female that my computer had been hacked and she needed to verify my computer numbers of some sort. I asked her how i can confirm that she was from technical support and she said that she had these numbers from my computer. Asked me to go into my computer and when i told her i wasnt near my computer she said she would call back but has not.

Claimed to be from Windows Support, I told her I didn't have a computer and she kept badgering me asking me why I was lying about that, and kept telling me that I had been hacked and they would block my computer if I did not listen to what she had to say. I told her that I knew it was a scam and she kept instantly calling me back, about six times in all, not giving me enough time to block the number. Number now blocked haven't heard anything for about 5 minutes.

Caller: Windows Service Centre She (sounded like someone from a call centre in the sub-continent) said that my computer had been hacked. After several minutes of trying to convince me, she launched into the "ZFSENDTOTARGET CLSID Trick" to prove that my computer was hacked, and that I should allow them to connect & fix it !! That is when I called out the scam & hung up (total time for the call, approx 45 minutes).

Caller: Scammer Apparently my computer has been hacked!! When I said I haven't been on it for a week as I'm away, she said it could've been before that. Realising it was a scam, I told her I didn't have time to deal with this now, to which she replied that tomorrow may be too late. I basically had to just hang up on her, as she was so persistent.

Caller: Windows Security (!) Female with subcontinent accent claimed my computer has been hacked and they have my windows security number(?) to prove they are genuine. I expressed disbelief and said I would contact Windows myself. She stated not possible because Windows have no contact number. I responded not so and hung up. She rang back three time in quick succession but eventually gave up. For now anyway.

Caller: Scammer They rang about a report they had from our computer stating that we had been hacked and claimed to be from microsoft support. She couldn't answer simple questions to prove that she was actually who she claimed to be so my husband pointed out that it was a scam and hung up. She immediately rang back and was told that we would be reporting them and hung up again. She rang straight back another three times, twice I answered and said this is harassment and to never call this number again, which had no effect so the last time I answered and hung up instantly without saying a word and that was five minutes ago and no call back, she might have finally got the hint.

Caller: Scammer Repeatedly rang several times asking about a computer. When told that owner of house did not own a computer. They called back numerous times. When answered again and told to not call back the caller had said "That they would keep calling back" until they got an answer.
