It's a scam. Says they're from "information assist " offering a govt scheme to invest tax in retirement savings.

I answered and the man introduced himself as Chris from Information Connect. He then hung up on me. Just block the number.

Keeps calling for a gov scheme when I answered I told them I wasn't interested but just continues to keep calling. Majority of the time when you answer it hangs up and if try to return the call the number is disconnect

To put it briefly, Just hang up if they call... Apparently they're "information connect". Waste of time, money scam etc etc.

This number also repeatedly calls me. However when I try calling back it says "The number you are calling has been disconnected". dodgy scammers!

Received a call from 0457 946 869 said her name was Carol from information connect.
I stupidly answer her general question.
They only asked for rough age brackets, income, kid no kids ect but not exact figures. Said all information was protected under the Australian privacy act.
Something didn't feel right so I did some research after the call on the website she gave me.

I received a call back on 0422 203 267 . I have and will not answer.

Scam. Identify themselves and "Information Connect". Called 5 times this month offering some government sponsored tax scheme. They never leave a message but retry a lot. Asked them to take me off their call list but they said they have to contact a department in India to do this so it may take some time. Alarm bells ringing aloud now. Blocked.

A man called saying he was from a "government sponsored initiative to redirect my taxes towards my retirement". Refused to give me the name for that "initiative" or a website to look up. Asked about my employment and income. Either an unsolicited financial advisor or a blunt scam - beware.

Called up but did not answer thanks to all the feedback above - they should get a real job!

This number keeps calling me and never leave a message as i cant answer a lot of the times and so i call it back when i am not with clients and it comes up with: this number is no longer connected - or somewhere along those lines.
The times that I have answered their calls they give me crap about tax and getting money back, ive told them to not contact me ever again and everyday they call me. Very annoying.

A lady by the name of Loretta rang me on Wednesday the 11th about some tax deal, told her to stop calling tben she hung up on me.

Rang 4 times today. When I finally answered she told me she could tell me how to get money back on our income tax, but first needed me to answer a few questions. Yeah right. If it's genuine just send me the info I am not giving out personal info...

Rang 4 times in one day, when I answered he said his name was Greg and he could get me money back on my income tax. When I asked where he got my number he hung up.

I've asked them to take my number off their list and they called two more times today. Pests! It is some tax rebate company

They called me 6 times while in class. I called them and no reply. They said they were the government saying I had to pay tax. I hate these sort of people. Just get a real job

Rang 3 times in an hour. Voicemail picked up one call, no talking but sounded like a call centre in the background. Other 2 times left no message. Have blocked the number.
