"Michael" claiming to be from Telstra tech support. Wants to help me "remove some big junk files that (they had) detected being downloaded" by remotely accessing my computer. I said I'd call him back and he gave number to call as (02) 8006 7924. This number also appears on this site as a scam.

Had a call from this number & an Indian man also saying he was from Telstra & my internet was going to be disconnected as a virus & to go into the Event folder & delete it. I told him I don't have a computer & he said you need to buy one. I said this is just a scam & hung up on him!!! Pfttt serial pests!!!

Called a company in perth stating from telstra and interenet will be disconnected within the next 15 days.... showed her the sound of a truck reversing

Was out, came home to find this mobile number on my SILENT landline phone. Came here and read reviews. Have listed number in phones phonebook as scammer do not answer!

Landline call . Caller from India , representative for Telstra, stating that our internet was about to be disconnected. SCAMMERS.

Someone claiming to be from Telstra claimed we hadn't paid our bill (which wasn't true) and due to a virus on our computer we were going to be disconnected tomorrow (also not true). When I told him I was a graduate electronic engineer and worked in computers he rang off fairly quickly.

This number called me today, the man had a Asian voice, said he was from Telstra and that my internet was going to be disconnected, when I asked why he would not answer me, he asked about my computer, I said I didn't own a computer, he then hung up on me

they wont leave enuff alone. i just told them i was a policeman and never heard back.

As it shows as a mobile number on my screen I have answered it only to hear a woman's voice and noise in the background, then it cuts out. They have phoned me five times over a three hour period. When I phoned back a message said this number could not be connected.

Keeps calling landline when I call the nu

They are trying to call again and again from this number and saying they are from Telstra, Dodo, then NBN. They will say that your internet connection will be disconnected. They are indeed scammers and frauds.

Scammers, hang up immediately as they can sound convincing

Said they were from Telstra and said they would cut my internet off for a month as someone had hacked my computer and was downloading back data!!!
