Just got a call from this number. thank goodness for this website. Man they are annoying...

I just received a missed call from them, what annoys me is they let it go to message bank, then I have to pay to retrieve the message and they don't say anything grrrrr! so I rang the number on my landline and got "Optus regrets that this number has now been disconnected....yeah right when I just received a call from that number less then 30 sec's ago.......

Don't answer this number, they get your name and number from somewhere, left me a message stating my name then hung up. Hope it's costing them money for all these calls. Dumbarses.

My policy is if I don't recognise the number, let it ring out and google it. If it's a scam, sites like this will tell you then just delete the number.

As soon as I answer, I was disconnected. So google it and found out that it is more likely to be a scam!

I got a call from this number, I rang it back from a landline and was advised its disconnected. Looked up the number and yes its spam.

Telemarketing scam, forget it.

Had a call from this number and they said they are from Property Asset planing. Friendly enough. Told me they got my number from a survey or competition I entered. Could tell me where or when. Said they were selling tickets to a property asset planing evening. I said I would call them back as I had received a lot of dogey calls lately. She didnt want me to call back and wouldnt give me a contact number, when I pushed for it she hung up. I tried to call the number back and got the Optus message that this number has been disconnected.

some sort of telemarketing call. She said she's calling form new home owner company (but i don't even own a home?) and said i won a $50 gift card for coles or woolies. Then she said i have to attend a workshop in Sydney. so I told her I moved to melbourne :p

Timeshare Scam

I'm pretty sure this is Wyndham Holidays. They say you have been selected for a three night holiday for $100 in total. They are legitimate as my friend got sucked in to this scam,
Only one thing though, she went for her 3 night " holiday" escape but part of the deal was that her and her husband had to sit through a 2 hour lecture of them trying to sell Timeshare !

P.s. the telemarketers are situated all throughout Australia and a lot of them have English accents. Backpackers perhaps? Who knows

number disconected when i called back

Just received a call from this number. I called back immediately and Optus advised that the number is disconnected,.... f*cking scammers. I will bet my money on it that it's Lion Finance.

I got a call from 0448 687 256 and 0467 060 256 both at 1:56am!!! Luckily my ph was on silent at the time.... from what im reading, it looks like they were spam - I'm registered with the government site to stop these types of calls... it doesn't seem to be working 😕

they call on a mobile number but it's from a call centre you can hear them in the back ground

Jst got a call from this number same thing tried to call back but says the phone is turned off call back later.
