Claimed to be a company called recoveriescorp for an unpaid linkt account. No reference number. Asked to pay outstanding amount by link provided. Have ignored several of these since 2021. Sent them a '🖕' and they actually texted back claiming to be a 'chat portal' 🤦‍♀️. Even their website is a total scam.

Said they were from State Custodians and I might be entitled to a refund.

Yep. Another for recoveriescorp with the important message, reference number and link, but they had my husband’s name in the message, not mine. If it’s that important and legit they can contact my husband directly. Spam, blocked and deleted.

got sent multiple texts, calls after i had already paid my toll debt, opened link very confused that there was no .gov, looks extremely legit. ITS A SCAM

Received a text from Recoveriescorp with a reference number telling me to click a link. I had no idea what it was about and refused to click the link! Given a huge runaround by Recoveriescorp. They kept putting me through to "the right department" and then I was told I must have been calling from NSW or Qld so they'd put me through "to the right department"! On HOLD FOR.EVER!!!! Rang again. Told the same thing. ON HOLD FOR.EVER!!! So I rang their head office! The receptionist told me she couldn't tell me which deparment she was "popping" me through to! But I did end up ON HOLD FOR.EVER!!!!! My advice? Ignore them!
