Caller: George Papadopolous

Called himself George Papadopolous and asked if I was the business owner then claimed to be from the police but then abruptly hung up. I was wondering if he was fishing for my voice saying yes but also called from 4 variations of this number. Makes me wonder, we all have to show if to get a phone number how do these guys get away with it?

Said he was from the local Paramedics and drumming up donation support for Christmas. He said he got details from yellow pages.
Couldn't help him as said was not boss of company - and he needs to send email from web page in order for boss to see

A random guy called my number asking if I was the owner of my business. It felt a bit creepy and random so I said no and that I could pass on a message but he insisted that I give him the owner’s number. After saying that I don’t have it he said he will email us. He was speaking really quickly and was apparently from the “institution of health” or something

Caller: 0435 152 525 & 0435 152 513

Got two calls from 0435 152 525 on 9 July 2020 and 0435 152 513 on 10 July. I picked up the first time and lucky the person hang up (almost at the same time). Didn't pick up the second one. Thank you to all for posting about the scam. Just wanted to add the new ending numbers: 0435 152 525.

Had a conversation with a guy who called himself John Taylor, called from mobile numbers staring with 0435 152 ending in 513/503/529/471 and also 0435 169 968 told me he was from Australian Institute of Police and wanted to sell me a spot in their upcoming journal. He didn't like it when i started asking questions and was very arrogant and rude on the phone esp when i questioned his terrible sales pitch and lack of information he could provide and he wouldn't put anything in an email or writing to me. I got calls consistently over 3-4 days, finally got annoyed enough to tell him i knew he was a scammer and to p-off and he responded accordingly :) LOL..
