James, Luke. I have been chasing this lowlife for over two years now. He took a deposit for "handyman" work,he did a bit of work then refused to complete the job or give back outstanding monies owed (over $5000.00). He will come up with all types of excuses of why he can't pay or that he will pay next week. It never happens. Sadly I think your money is gone. Hopefully this site will alert other people to this scums methods of operation. I wish you two had of read the comments on here before you employed him, then maybe you wouldn't be chasing him for money. I think A Current Affair needs to called in on this joker. He is a habitual liar and I believe he will continue to rip-off unsuspecting people.

I have ordered your roof and have got your roof but due to all the circumstances I can no longer do this job because of this website now I must get deposit back which I will do .

Paul - you have failed to pay the monies you promised - and for all concerned below is the reply I got from this spineless fraudster this morning;

"Sorry trying to finish off a job in adequate funds at the moment but will have it Wednesday of this week . Will keep you informed"

Fell victim to this person, Inside Out Handyman, Early November 2014, prepayment taken, no works done.

10.11.2014 Took $1200 deposit from aged people in Ferntree Gully for repairs to decking roof. Never started the work, wont return calls or monies deposited to his account. Would love to catch up with him - Paul you have my number...

It's been more than a month now and Paul has not made any payments and has gone underground. It looks like he has decided to completely disregard a court order and not pay his instalments. Be very careful using his services, or at least don't pay until the work
Is complete. He disregards court orders so I would assume (note: my opinion only) that if he owed you money you would have buckleys of getting it back.

Paul seems to get mixed up between fact and fiction. Therefore I will lay out the facts in point form, not only for his potential victims but also for himself.
1. Paul was employed to do work.
2. Paul took a substantial deposit for works.
3. Paul failed to complete a substantial amount of the works.
4. Paul was given the oppurtunity to complete the works, however refused.
5. Paul was then asked to give the deposit for work not done back, however refused.
6. Paul was then given another oppurtunity to complete the works, however refused.
7. Paul refused to answer calls or messages.
8. Paul was ordered to pay back money by a court.
9. To Pauls credit, he paid back via a weekly payment plan, a substantial amount of monies owed, that being 40% of what is owed.
10. Paul then stopped paying inexplicably over three months ago, with a substantial amount (60%) still oweing and hasnt made any payment since.
11. Paul has shown no intention of paying back the outstanding debt he owes.
12. Paul may of in the past as he states "I do lots of work for people get money upfront (sic)a complete jobs", however in this case this didnt happen. From this comment he hints that because he has done "lots of work for people get money upfront (sic)a complete jobs" that it is OK to occassionally get money up-front and not complete the work or give the money back, because as he states people do this to him i.e. get the work done and not pay.
13. Be wary of this person, dont let yourself be the next person that pays a deposit for work to be done and he dissapears.
14. Of course I will keep this site updated with Pauls payments or non payments and as such if Paul can clear his debt he deserves to be given a second chance and this site will be updated accordingly.
15. The ball is now in your court, Paul. Play it wisely.
16. Paul is bound to come back with an excuse for the above facts. I will reply and stick to the facts.

And I have tried the other method as well not receiving money but then not getting paid for the job . Is that also mean I can put their name on this website no .
