i would like to say that paul did a job for me and he was excellent! He took a deposit and completed his jobs. He took a little more time than what he said but this is the nature of his business as weather held him back and he also had other jobs. He is very professional in my opinion and was nice natured!

I just dodged a bullet with Con-man. I did extensive background checks before handing over a deposit up front. The positive reviews are from Pauls girlfriend, who has enjoyed renovations and holidays at your expense. The address of Wandin is one of hers, however she no longer resides there, however I believe she now resides in the Dandenong Ranges.

Everything is true regarding this scam. Our family that live in Lysterfield employed Paul 10/7/2017 to complete a roof on our gazebo, Paul collected the $1000 deposit in a very timely manner as he said he could start the next day and this is why the deposit was given so promptly (feel such fools) Often we watch A Current Affair and never can understand how these scammers work and our family have had a true taste of how Paul the handyman works . He will often do small jobs in the house to build a rapport with you. After you pay any large deposit he simply disappears with your money. It is heartbreaking as we feel so gullible with the lies and being sucked into to this cruel world of scamming. My neighbour had found this website and alerted us that there is many people he has done exactly the same as he did to us. The scam starts when he promises he will start the next day, then come the excuses which we fell for every time , He was just interested in stealing this money from our family.

The excuses were endless. , he even said he would tarp the roof for my sons pool party as it had been 10 weeks and he hadnt started but didnt turn up for this either. After we read other peoples issues , cant believe he has been doing this to people for 5 years. I have asked for our hard earned deposit of $1000 back and simply no reply .. This website depicts exactly how fradulent behaviour and deception can work. It is no wonder the police have been notified and regular court dates to repay people . .

Anonymous, it still doesn't make it right that he refuses to pay people back for money that he owes. Yes you do see businesses go to VCAT every day, but I bet they pay the money that they owe after ordered by VCAT and subsequently a court. Nothing wrong with Paul going to VCAT like you say but there is when he has been ordered to pay monies back by VCAT and refuses to do so. All he has to do is pay money that he has been ordered to pay for taking a deposit and not completing works. Simple really. Its not a VCAT issue anymore, they ruled against him and he owes money.

people have issues at work! People have issues with their business! 2 negative comments and unhappy customers don't make it at all a reason to call a person a con man. Think about all the happy customers! I am one of them and stand buy paul! If he was such a con man you would think that there would be more unhappy people supposedly being ripped off! Things don't always go well in business and at times you will have conflict and be involved with vcat! You see everyday well known businesses been taken to vcat every single day. Like I said all businesses will have many issues misunderstandings and conflict throughout their time!

Paul, in reply to your Jan 30 statement that the judge struck out your debt. You are living in a dream world. The only thing struck out that day was an EXTRA $171.40 order for you to explain yourself why you had failed to pay your instalments to me. The Original debt cannot be struck out by a magistrate. It would have to go to a higher court for it to be even considered to be struck out. As it stands you still owe over $5000.00 with interest accruing daily. If you don't believe it call Sunshine or Dandenong Magistrates court and they will advise you accordingly. I advise everyone to steer clear of this character.

Mr Shane Clinch is delusional I have pay back money that Oh owe him and the rest of the money he thinks that I owe him is Onies own back due to taking me to court etc he took me back to court and could not be bothered turning up that day so the judge struck it out .

All monies have been paid to James pick up $1200 .but the person Wrote that I owe this money will not amend it now . So letting everybody know that it is paid . Over and done .
