I just happened to google the number and all this came up. Thanks for the reports you just saved me $300. Surely this guy should be in jail. Many other people would have just accepted it as a lose. If you steal $300 from the shop you are arrested this is the same.

I assume the same fellow (Daniel Falzon) has responded via sms to my wanted advert on Gumtree. Said the part was located in Darwin and he could get it to me for a total of $350. I was suspicious and then my phone warned me of a potential fraud (Not sure how or why) so checked on here and found some very interesting reading regarding this dodgy fellow. Anyway, I guess this means that he is still up to his old tricks, by the sound of it.

First, let me just say that this thread has just saved me a few hunded dollars and if it wasn't for everyone here posting details, I'd be writing a post the same as yours tomorrow.

I posted a WTB on gumtree last night and got a text this morning asking whether I'd purchase something even if it had to be posted. I said I would and then exchanged a few details.

I was looking for a very specific part for an old bike.

I felt a bit uneasy, so I eventually called the guy (who said his name was Daniel) and he explained why he had the part. He also explained that the reason he was 'parting out' his bike was due to the fact that he was in Darwin and had no access to good mechanics. It sounded legit and so I agreed to transfer cash.


He sent me the name and bank account details. That leads to about 30 mins ago when (on a whim) I just looked up Daniel Falzon. This thread was the second result in Google, thank God! The name matched, the phone number matched. You know what they say... if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck....

Please everyone, beware.

This piece of work is still at it. Now calls himself Daniel Francis . starts throw abuse the second you catch the F**ker out. Look out I was caught off guard!!!!!!!!. Hoping the power of the good people can get this guy cleaned out and throw in the trash.

This person replied to a wanted ad I put on gumtree, he tried to offer me something at a price that was jut to low to be realistic. I google the phone number and it comes up with all other people affected by his scam. I will contact vicpol as well just to let them know he is still operating. Would be great to visit the addresses supplied and actually phone the same mobile number when they answer the front door to see if it rings within the house, this is in my opinion is the only way to confirm his whereabouts.

My partner and I have been scammed by this a**hole, he reckons he put money back in the account, after looking into it I found this. I don't get what people get out of ripping money of from people, acting like the victim and getting called names because he's in the wrong ( if it's really a male or not - you never know with scammers!) He is a rude and arrogant pig

I got scammed earlier this year by the prick. I lodged a complaint against him to the online Cyber Fraud website (https://www.cyber.gov.au/report) and finally got a reply last week with information Vic police are going to charge him. I suggest if you have been a victim you lodge a complaint and have as much documentation about your communication with him as possible.

I am telling you guys who read this right now that he lives at 14 packer way Williams landing not hoppers crossing

Thanks to your website I found this deadbeat he replied to an add I had on gumtree tried to get me to pay for stuff and postage but I started asking him questions and he went quite it makes you not trust anyone which is a shame but idiots like this should be shut down

Just to clarify the name and address are correct as of yesterday I do believe many people give up on the loss of their money but call werribee police station that is the one closest to him they are very helpful ask for special crime unit if everyone who was scammed had done this the problem would be gone forever I have chosen to give evidence in my case as to make sure it is followed through
