Strange Chinese language recording playing when I answered

Corey rang me earlier today (or possibly a colleague of Corey) i said i was at work, thanked them for the call and hung up. Corey rang me this evening, i explained that he (or a colleague) had rung me earlier today and i'd indicated i was at work. i advised Corey that i was still at work and said thanks again. Corey said "can i just say something", i asked Corey if he understood that i'd just explained i'm at work and wasn't looking to engage in a call. Corey said you didn't explain that very well. I'd suggest Corey might need to find a more suitable line of work as his telephone fundraising skills aren't very refined and he's creating a negative impression for Greenpeace who are usually very apt fundraisers.

Called but didn't leave message

Caller: Unidenifed Charity

Called number back and got a recorded message saying they were a charity (not identified) and that I had supported them in the past (not likely).

Called and hung up without leaving message. 1st time form this number

Definitely not spam.

Rang I answered asked my name I said yes hello they hung up

I received a call from this number today. I have been receiving many spam calls from various numbers recently, this is just another one.

Number not known, no message left.
Calling it spam... blocked

Asked for "Ann". When I told them it was a wrong number, they seemed confused and hung up. Lots of call centre noise in the background.

Cloned phone number

No message left.

Called back on Skype, Optus advises that to the number is disconnected.

They asked if I was (name) I said yes and then they hung up..I have blocked it

they called, i answered, i didnt say anything, they didnt say anything, this went on for 15 seconds all i could here was whisper and we background noises, then just hung up. I blocked them im get a bunch of random numbers calling doing the same thing it must be some sort of active mobile number collection and they sell collection to telemarketers.

Left no message. Blocked the number

Called my in breach of privacy provisions. I'm registered on the do not call register

Screened call, did not leave a msg

They called me I missed the call and then they left a voicemail and when I listened to the voicemail it sounded like a computer woman's voice or a woman's voice on the tv but I couldn't make out what they were saying

Called back as was a mobile number, and the lady on the recording (Australian accent) said she was phoning on behalf of a charitable organisation (not named). They didnt leave a message so I blocked them. This is the third time in as many days that 'charities' have called. Had a call yesterday from Greenpeace, sounds like a scam.

Rings a lot. Never leaves a message. I never answer unknown numbers particularly when they never leave a message.
