Yep got two sms with same messages as others. ACCC informed.

Got this message yesterday. Knew it was a scam.
"Our systems indicate that the creditcard used to recharge yr prepaid service is about to expire.Pls update with new card details for topups to continue."

Yep just got the same message. Typed the number into google and found this... thanks for the heads up

just got mine and knew it was sus as F. called it but disconnected

Received a text from this number stating
"Our systems indicate that the creditcard used to recharge yr prepaid service is about to expire.Pls update with new card details for topups to continue."
I knew it was b.s.

I got 2 messages one after the other today:
"You have cancelled your next scheduled payment for 25/mar/2015. Your next scheduled payment will be on 25/apr/2015"
then
"/p1/spool/sms/reg_stop/0429 809 270/outbox/20150318124608740967"

The worst giveaway is that the number comes up and not Telstra if it's a text from Telstra the name Telstra appears not this number

How can it be stopped. I get 15 sms's everyday. I dont have smart phone, just an old nokia clam shell

just got one today! number is disconnected... how can it keep happening? so many providers they just keep changing to stay ahead; would be interesting if it's linked to the provider I'm now with - I changed to them in February this year...

I received a text from this number at 5:07am this morning saying "Your credit card service details have expired"

I received the same message today - yr credit card details are going to expire.
