Caller: Amazon Renewal Scam - 0428 861 854 Regular call received over the past few weeks (now twice in 2 days) Female automated voice claiming to be from Amazon regarding Amazon subscription auto-renewal being due today for $98, requesting to press 1 if wanting to cancel. No other options are provided on the initial message, and if you do not respond, the call auto-hangs up 10-15 seconds later. The point of this call would be to get you to give them your Amazon account details so they can then hack your account, have you "verify" your credit card details which instead would be to steal your credit card details, and most likely other personal identification information, for identify theft.
