Random text msg with zip pay number, which I have never used. Spam. Block this number.

These f*ckwits have scammed us out of 100s $$ as we thought it was Zip pay. Didn’t realise it was Zip Money which we don’t have! Arseholes! I would like to grab their little Indian necks and snap it!

I deleted message and of course black-listed the number. Even if I had Zip pay I'd not open that link, I'd contact them directly.

Text message I required from ZIP after paying for a service over the phone and used ZIP as the payment method - absolutely legitimate when it includes the name of the merchant in the text. Is also the number that sends secondary/dual authentication for my ZIP account.

I do have a zip money account & it is overdue.
Same number is the one that I get codes from to confirm payments made by zip money from within their official app.

SAFE - Although if you don't have a zip money account then that is a bit suss.

Sent me a zip money sms code - never heard of zip money before

Zippay but never use it as well. Saying my repayment didn't go through need to up date my payment to avoid late free.

The text said I had insufficient funds when they tried to direct debit from my bank. They provided a link to the zip app for me to make an immediate payment. Absolutely a scammer. Never had an account with them. When I rang the zip co customer service team They said the details under my phone number didn’t match my details. I said of course not. They said they’d remove my number.

This is the text I received today.. "Oops, your Zip Pay repayment did not go through, Please check your card details and make a repayment to avoid late fees" along with a link. I have never used Zippay or attached my number to online shopping anywhere. BLOCKED right away.
