Caller: Anz supposedly Sms that I have a suspicious charge on my card and to respond to the sms and not call. A charge did appear in my card history however. Didn't respond to the sms

Not a scam in my case, i made a payment and got message right after, but it looks fishy so confirmed it is from ANZ. BUT be careful, always confirm with anz first.

Caller: ANZ Bank Actually not a SCAM. I called the bank direct and it’s a legitimate bank text re fraudulent activity on credit card. But best to always call bank and not respond to text.

It is a genuine message from ANZ. If you get message call the bank to verify . I had to cancel my card as ANZ detected fraudulent transactions

Caller: ANZ ANZ text message to confirm if it is an unauthorised transaction via 1 as a YES and 2 as NO.
Secondary text message came through stating that the temporary block has been removed and to try again in 15mins
