Definitely not legit. At a quick glance the link tries to drop malware on your phone. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!!!
It's hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and is using AppsFlyer (SaaS mobile marketing analytics and attribution platform).

I got the same text from "eBay AU", also on 28 Sept 2018. I assumed it was a scam so didn't click any links. When I tried to manually enter the address given on a PC it didn't work so looks like it's a dud. Just logged into my account on the real Ebay Australia and there's no message about it, no sign of a $20 credit. Can't find any info about a real eBay promo.
These phone and online scams are getting so common now it's just cluttering up my phone like spam does for email. Even if there's really a $20 credit out there I'm not going to risk it, anyway these "offers" are just out to suck people in for more ad's. Got more than enough of those already. Legit biz's know better.

Reckon it's something to do with g+ data breach, because the message was to to my g+ handle, not to the name my ebay account is in.

Don't reply Stop to this or ANY unknown number . If you're worr8ed, you can disable Premium Sms that cost you money through your account setting on your mobile carriers account settings.

Or ring your provider and tell them to disable all Premium SMS/MMS SERVICES. this will stop any issues of feeling like you have to reply to stop unwanted charges.

Caller: I don't know but the mobile number was incorporated into the sms which they want you to reply to. SCAM

I'm reporting this number and believe it is unwanted propaganda by SMS and IMO a breach of Privacy from either eBay, Afterpay, or some scammer using their platform to access your data. It wants you to ... Request to reply "STOP" to the number shown in this sms offering discount using Afterpay on eBay. Don't do it. I've blocked the number but the sender of the txt message is unknown and cannot reply to the sms directly ... In other words, they want you to basically add the number shown to your mobile and reply "stop". This a scam to get your number. Delete the messages and block the number. I am hoping this site, reverseaustralia actually does something, or indeed anything at all, about these complaints. There are 60 odd complaints and the calls still keep coming. We want to stop them, not talk about them. Please show that you are actively working to demobilise these scammers.
