"James from The Wine Group". Sadly this number didn't come up as spam so I answered it. He was left in no doubt that I wanted my number removed from their list. Then I blocked the number.
Other numbers used by "James from The Wine Group" include 0480 004 529, 0488 859 705 and 0480 004 912.
The acma.gov.au web site has an article dated 12/05/2022 saying the wine group has paid $204,240 for breaching spam and telemarketing laws.

'James from the wine group' has called me about 20 times on different numbers which have blocked. The voice you hear is a recording and they just will play different recordings based on your answers and they are never quite right. Massive scam! Extremely pushy and persistent and when you keep saying no they transfer you to someone overseas (an actual person) who tried to push you into 'buying wine'.

Called did not leave a message suspected scammers

I got called from James at Wine Group while driving. I told him I was driving and would call back. He kept going saying this would only take 1 minute. I let him go on and then he wanted to transfer me to Customer Service to take my credit card number. I told him yet again that I was driving and I will call back later. I hung up. Hang up on these people!
