They 'prank call' to see who answers or if its answered to make sure the number they call is used by the person they want. Then they call on private number to test who you will answer to then call off official buisness numbers... its an info collecting tactic. Just dont answer.

It's not a scam it's a debt collector credit corp who will stop at nothing to get you to pay by harrassing everyday even on weekends and public holidays they sell debt to other debt collector and still try to get payment

This is a scam call centre I called the number back and they hung up on me as soon as I asked them who they are, then played a dumb game to catch them out the dial tone changes to an international tone I know cause I call to my country and has the same tone if it’s domestic there is no static also it was an arrogant Indian on the other side who picked up and asked me for my address and that I owe money I also have no debt owing to anything

Would not disclose who they are, only said they were a company from Sydney and unless they spoke to the person they wanted and got permission to speak to me they wouldn’t say where they were from.
