Because I never answer an unknown number these days I waited for them to leave a message - and of course no message left. Another one of these scam callers it seems. Another one blocked on my phone.

Caller: Visa/Mastercard

When I picked up you can hear people speaking their native tounge in the background, most likely caught them off guard as I picked up the call quickly. Claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard.

Asked how I was going and then hung up.

Never pick up when the number is unknown.

Caller: ‘Telstra’

Skype call. She gave her name, and said she was from telstra after a long pause. I said OK? And she hung up.

Probably a new scam call centre starting up and trying to tell me my internet will be disconnected because of viruses.

Blocked them and moved on.

This number called, when I answered someone with the usual sub-Continental accent claimed to be from Telstra Australia. When I said I had nothing to do with Telstra Australia he babbled on unintelligably about something. Highly suspicious this was an attempted scam call, I hung up and blocked the number.
