Caller: SMS text message claiming to be from APPLE

Text message says my Apple iCloud has been suspended. They ask me to click a link & enter my details to "lift suspension". I DIDN'T FOLLOW THE LINK. Firstly it may download malware! Secondly i assume they also want my iTunes credit card number so they can STEAL ALL MY MONEY !!! BEWARE !!!

Text message from Lachlan.slovan @ police.Vic.gov.au regarding stolen registration plate from Airport Toyota. My name was used,, correct cell number and the registration plate has been stolen. Text message from 0419 598 785 asking me to email him at the provided VicPol email address. Never heard of police using cell phones to contact victims. My email was provided to VicPol and VicRoads. Used VPN to call number from a USA phone; number provided contained no messaging and was turned off or not in a mobile service area. POLICE DO NOT USE CELL PHONES.

Called me by name & asked me to go to the address two houses up from mine to tell the resident (full name & address given to me) to "Call Jessie ASAP on (02) 8836 4305.
I messaged them on messenger, they had absolutely no clue who Jessie was, or was familiar with the mobile or the land line no's.

This phone number has sent me two text messages from different companies, one last year from Gemini Geebung and one today from my GP in regards to test results. I’m assuming this is a type of call center that sends SMS. You can’t call through
