Caller: Overseas scammers are pretending their calls are from my number

Hi and apologies to anyone receiving these calls. They are not from me—overseas scammers are falsifying their caller IDs as my number. People are more likely to answer if they see a local number. It's called spoofing. This is a nightmare for me too. It seems very little can be done to stop it.

Caller: Indian telemarketers

They called me today. I answered seeing it was an Aussie mobile phone number but as soon as I heard the Indian accent I hung up

I asked them how did they get my number.. they said "I wont tell you" then hung up...

Caller: Indian

Got the call saying I had inquired on a mortgage. Indian guy. I hung up. He rang back and left a voicemail message saying “f k you, f k you, f k you”. He must have been having a bad day!

Caller: "The Financial Group"

I've got them on hold right now. Let's see how long he's got. :)

I received this call at 15:43 on 10/10/18. Some Indian guy calling from a call centre stating they are from "Wizard Finance".

Dr Kathleen should talk to the operator and get this sorted! PLEASE

Just received a call from your number. A foreign voice, possibly Indian, was speaking.
Have you notified your mobile service provider of the spoofing?
I will contact mine and bring it to their attention.

Just received a call from these guys!
Some budget financials and keep telling me that I asked them to ring back? stupid
I think they are masking these numbers to get away with complaints

Been getting a few of these numbers that start with "061"- interesting that that are spoofing peoples actual numbers...

This came thru on my phone as 061417895623 - poor Kath

I just received the same call 5 times. Called back 'Kath' on voicemail.

Caller: Spoofing scammer

Kathleen's number has been spoofed. Tried to call her back and her voicemail is very informative. The person who called you may be a scammer.

Her number showed up as '061417895623' on my phone.
