A spammer is doing a call around to see which number are active. It hangs up straight away. I have received similar calls from 0416 037 990 and 0416 037 940. My own phone number is only 2 digits off all three of these numbers. I am expecting soon I will get a lot of phone calls from angry people because a spammer spoofed my legitimate number which I have had since the 90's.

Yesterday received a call from 0416 037 940. Today from 0416 037 994. Both hung up the moment I answered. Both only two digits different from my phone number. Suspect they're phishing for active numbers.
