He had a business called robertson gerald account collections pty which was shut down by ASIC. He is a liar and a cheat who will bully people into collections including threatening third parties with court actions - if he contacts you call ASIC and get legal advice immediately as he doesnt work for any company and isnt associated in any way shape or form as a professional.

Is this company a scam?

FRAUD! Contacted me saying he needs to collect an outanding debt for a bank on a car I purchased. What he does is search PPSR reports for people with outstanding bills on there cars and bullies them into handing over cash he’s not entitled too.
