I also was contacted by this person after posting an ad on gumtree looking for Robert Glasper tickets and in my excitement/naiveness made the mistake of transferring money to his bank account and then never heard from them again, nor got my tickets.

I'm not expecting to get my money back, but seeing as how this guy frauding a lot of people, I want to at least prevent it from happening to someone else.

This person has done this to me aswell. Same thing with a very professional looking 'agreement' for some tickets for an upcoming music fest. He stated he was four hours from the town I live in, close enough to drive but that little bit too far to take the journey. I am going to police station today to take action. Go to your banks if its not to late and fill out a 'pay anyone dispute form.' This goes forward to his bank and requests that he returns the money. If he doesnt after three request letters then he legal action can be taken.... Which is the process i am going through now. If I dont get my money back it is my own fault but I will atleast try to do what I can to inform Police so they can possibly stop him. I have place a warning ad on Gumtree... spread the word so this scum bag gets caught.

Same i purchased 2 tickets for hilltop hood tickets off clint also lost $200 sooo angry if anyone finds a way of getting money back let me know please

Clint answered my wanted ad for splendor tickets and we even wrote up a contract. I paid $300. Of course I have not heard from him or seen the tix? Anybody else want to take action? I am going to contact his bank Monday. I'm livid.

Same thing happened to me, they said the tickets were in a town out of Adelaide, I just happened to live in the same town. Didn't lose any money fortunately but as expected didn't hear back from them again!!

Same thing happened to me - answered a wanted ad I'd placed on Gumtree for concern tickets, gave me a story about why they'd moved out of town so i couldn't pick them up, stupidly I deposited half the funds into their account, and of course, no tickets eventuated.
