This piece of sh*t hacked my Uber and gmail account.

This guy (Indian) called up and said he was from Bling and they were doing some kind of advertising for some properties done by Indian developers this weekend at the Melbourne Convention Centre. He asked two questions: read out my email address and asked if it was the right one (which he clearly had), then asked which day I would prefer to attend the presentation. Apparently per the MCEC website in the 'What's On' page there's nothing on this weekend matching the description. Not really sure what he got out of the call other than some marketing feedback for a show that's not even happening. Also no idea where he found the email but it seemed he already knew everything he knew the 'personal details' prior to cold calling. If this guy is a hacker it's the sh*ttiest hacking attempt I've ever seen. Either way if you get something similar and you're scared they're going to hack you, maybe fire your phone number and email through a google search to see what turns up and maybe hide any personal details.

I am pretty sure l know who this is. This piece of scum uses both these numbers. My google account, face book account and bank account were all hacked. This low life eventually completely shut both my phones down and l lost all my data. I believe this person to be the same low life scum bag that had been screwing my then fiancee for 3 years. I want the maggot put away and do jail time.

This number was already in my phone autofilling, despite me having a completely different number, and in particular appears when I start up the UBER app. Uber brings up a message that this phone Account is "disabled", so I have never been able to use Uber. I assumed it was the phone number of the previous owner of the phone which I purchased from Cash Converters and they sent down from Sydney earlier in 2017. Today the number appeared in Uber and I pressed "enter" and it sent off a code to whoever has that number. Oops. Honest mistake. I will delete Uber app because I cannot use it.

This number was already in the Microsoft Edge autofilling when I was setting up a brand new computer. What is going on?

It is the obvious dummy number to show people that is where they should enter their mobile phone number.

This number was pre-filled into an on-line form which I had to complete to re-install Windows 10. Lucky I noticed it and removed it. Wouldn't you like to get them in a quiet and dark lane and give them what they really deserve!

0412 345 678 I searched this number because I thought gee I feel sorry for whoever owned this number as can you imagine how many people have used it when filling out stuff online and they didn't want to give their actual mobile number. But after reading all of there comments I reckon whoever is using it is gaining access to personal information for this very reason!! Very sneaky

This number has been pre-filled as a 2 factor recovery number in all my email accounts, all have been hacked. Even new ones set up with new 2 factor and recovery email addresses and mobile numbers. And, even after reformatting my Hard drive and reinstalling windows and reconfig. Possibly getting access via hacked accounts on cloud (possible google and Microsoft!) Removing, Google account from mobile phone when done with it, and signing out of all accounts from PC portal helped, (no guarantee this will fix it, but it stopped the access to some email accounts and apps.

Hi, Do you mind naming that person? I see your post is dated 2023. But, it’s recently that I noticed this number in my SIGNAL. I started getting this types of problems only after when people added me into local Indian community WhatsApp groups. I’ve been receiving strange calls from cleaning companies that I had not rung up. There had been girls of Indian originating visiting my place asking door to door service for ventilation cleaning. I’m pretty sure this person has accessibility to my very personal information or probably all of it, including my bank account number. If he is still running loose, we need to expose this person to the Law Enforcers. Maybe, it can be illegal to even disclose his name. You share his first name, first alphabet, and his surname’s first alphabet. Thank you.

I have been hacked into my mobile phone for several years now. This number had appeared in autofill in my SIGNAL app. I’m pretty sure my social media and all related applications are also hacked. Yes, like someone mentioned in this thread, people think I’ve been imagining. Nope, someone is clearly watching me. Probably, they have an agenda here. I’ve my suspicions but due to legal issues, I’m resisting to name the person. I’d reported several times on spam and scam calls made via Victoria Police. Yet, this activity is continuing one after another like there is no stop to it at all!

After trying to find out who was illegally using my bank funds Uber lead me to this number when I realised he piggybacked my account claiming to be a business partner and I don’t even have a business. I found his number in auto fill on Uber. Downloaded data records through my Uber account to see his fake IP address and my one IP address which is my iPhone that is the only account useable by me. Hacked my Dept of Justice work computer. IT told me it was through my gmail account and to only use my mobile for access to my gmail account and my mobile number as an access point for recovery. I had a back up email account previously. Proved to Uber he illegally accessed my account through my recovery email address. After prove Uber did nothing, they needed to be held accountable. Can’t be stuffed and deleted my account with them. f*ck Uber! It sounds like so many people have been effected by the POS and yet nothing has been done by them. They still get there money so why would they care it was illegal when they get paid!
