Called back the number 0409 866 571 and reached vm but couldn't hear the name of the company

Caller: Said they were investigators

Said they were investigators, I asked some serious questions and they hung up.. ## WARNING ## SCAM CALLERS.. No return call answer and message bank full.. scam

I tried to call back but it said message bank full. Came up as spam call in my call log afterwards.

Caller: An investment company

Claiming that I filled out a Commsec survey months ago but they didn't have an investment opportunity for me at the time, but they do now. I did not fill out a survey for investment opportunities. Pushing an IPO for Stripe Payments.

They wanted my email address to send out free information, which I did not give them.

I couldn't pick up the name of the company but mentioned something about investments. I said my number was on the national Do Not Call Register and he made a hasty goodbye and left. Doesn't appear to be the usual Indian scammers, for once did not have an Indian accent, so it may actually be a real telemarketer. Even so, they're breaking the law by not checking the register and will be reporting. Until now Australian telemarketers have been semi-reputable but I'm starting to get calls despite being on the Do Not Call Reg. Which is dumb of them because there are steep penalties. Tried calling back, says mailbox is full, no message can be left, does not say what company it is.
Not happy. Just when i finally stopped getting calls from illegal Indian scammers then actual telemarketers start harassing me, will be lodging complaints with ACMA

Telemarketer suggesting I completely a survey and now there was some good opportunities for me
