Dodgey caller, keeps calling but nobody on the other end

Is anyone else om the do not call register but still receive at least one or more of these dodgy calls a week?
I think I have more numbers blocked then I do in my phone book.........ENOUGH ALREADY

This number contacted me asking if I was a homeowner etc, something about a government program.

This caller keeps calling me and hanging up when I announce my name. I am never able to call back as they either block incoming calls or switch their phone off. Today he actually spoke and said 'hello is this Melissa speaking'

0405 270 963 might be looking for someone to help them commit Suicide or something. Their Telephones and Automated System used to annoy people will be used on them as instruments of Torture. When the Surgeon do an Autopsy on them will think that some Mad Scientist were doing some strange Hybrid experiments on Telemarketers and Research Callers. Then those Hybrid Telemarketers and Research Callers will end up on the YouTube of people that likes to talk about Doomsday and End of the World.

calls & hangs. when you return the call there is no answer

Usual scammwrs. Ring from multiple mobiles. Claim to not want to sell anything,and ask about government rebate entitlements. Obviously run off a few scripts but only there to fleece you.

I have do not disturb set up on my mobile so that only numbers in my contact list will ring my phone. This number is an example of why I have done this. I did call it back but there are "incoming call restrictions" on this number. So I am assuming it is an unwanted caller so I am now blocking it.

Super dodgy bloke banging on about a charity or some such rubbish. Clearly a scam

Called my number several times then hung up. I Tried calling them back but unable to. Having read the comments abouve I have now blocked it

Harassing and aggressive calls in relation to some dodgy tax rebate that doesn't exist. Be cautious in dealing with.

just got a call from this number and it cute off when i picked up. and it hang up on me when i called back.
