text about a damaged parcel with a link ... obvious scam ... deleted the text msg

This number sent me a text, used my name and quoted a tracking number, then said status:paid. Please confirm the missing details: providing a link to click on

Sent a text thanking me for submitting a form with a shonky looking link. I haven’t submitted any form.

Text saying it’s from Commbank and that there has been suspicious activity on my account and asking me to click a link to fix it. I’m not with Commbank.

I did not remember receiving a parcel and had an inkling it was a scam. It was!

Same as other people commented here. This number left a text with my correct name saying “Hello [my name] - Your item has been held at our forwarding distribution centre. Please follow instructions here: *insert link here*.” I am not waiting for any deliveries so this is clearly a scam.

Text about a damaged parcel with a link. I am not waiting for a parcel assumed it a scam.

Message stated they wanted to deliver a parcel, but the label had been damaged. As I was expecting a parcel, I clicked on the link provided, which took me to a virtual chat assistant. After confirming my name, it asked me to provide a delivery address. At that point I closed the link.

They keep calling me Mazie, like all the other low life scammers in the world and its not my name, they must sell off mobile numbers to all the other scammers

Looks like a phishing scam to induce you to click on the link and... whatever nasties are there.
They had found my name to go with the number.

Sent me a text with my name saying they were meaning to send me a form in september. Weird link to Click on (didnt click). I tried to call the number from my office line and on all 3 occasions, they hung up on me. Ended up blocking the number

Sent a message with my first name asking me to check on this link they forgot to send me. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

Left a message to say label on parcel got torn.
I tried the link and it took me to a website where they wanted me to pay $3.30 to deliver my parcel and then to pay a yearly subscription of $67.

scammers saying my identity has been compromised I have notified authorities

This number sent me a message Addressing my name and , "your pckg-label was damaged and is missing critical information. A link which directs me to a picture of package and asked to enter my address and charge of $3 delivery fee. :D
A scammer. watch out!
