Panthera Finance trying to scam people.

I just had a call from a guy trying to ask me if I know a person. He would not give the name of the business. He was vague and thought he knew my name. (But was completely wrong. I called back and it was two companies, Panthera and the other State Macintire)

Had a missed call from 0403 001 367 tonight whilst at work, I had just tryed calling food services to place our order but couldn't get though, I assumed the number was food services trying to call me back to I returned the call to be greeted very rudley by a young lady that demanded my birth date & told me it was a personal business matter, I then asked why she would not give me answers so I refused her questions, I wAs then informed they would continue to ring until I gave them my details, I told the young lady until you give me answers I'm not answering your questions, I then raged at her because it was 9pm she then Informed me oh we can ring as late as we like, rude arogant people with no tact what so ever!!
They can jump if they think they are getting anything out of me, stupid cock sucking thunder c*nts

I've been hounded by these people too, 1st call some girl rambled on about a debt with AGL, I've never been with them & have all bills with the provider I had & bank statements to prove all were paid.She wanted me to pay using my debit card then so it would all go away.
I asked her to send me a copy of the 'bill' to my email as I was in the car with nothing to make notes on, still waiting & that was August last year.
They also change their number & I got caught out a few days ago, I've repeatedly asked for a copy of said bill but they can't provide it. But they want me to send in my proof, told them I'm terminally ill (which is the truth)& what they are doing is harassment. but the calls keep coming. The said bill has changed in both time frame & amount depending on who I talk to. I found another group on FB, they are now saying even the ombudsman can't help. I would like to add that the bill was from back in 2008 & I stayed at that address for another 5 years, now still have mail redirection in place but not once did I receive anything till the phone call in August last year.
Another thing I've noticed, unlike other calls this number disappears from my phone after 24 hours & I did give it a name so I knew who it was but is still coming up with the number!

Hahaha Good one Julie! Also, I take note of their number & save it in my phone under "nuisance". Whenever I'm out & about and you get those annoying pple that want u to sign up 4 something or in the Shops they have pamphlets/competitions (usually those 'free' carpet cleaning or vacuum cleaner trials) I write in these "nuisance" phone numbers. Good job !!!!!

They might also use 0477 765 022 send SMS messages saying you have payments to State Mercantile dishonouring , very interesting when you have never ever dealt with SM and u dont owe anyone anything.

Panthera Finance a debt collection agency once known as state mercantile works out of brisbane possibley spring hill wickham tce was last known address. i believe they purchase debts and then collect.

They called my claiming I owed radio rentals I never have been to radio rentals and I missed a call at 1 am wtf

Here is some GREAT advice to pass on to all your friends. The first thing they ask you is to confirm your name and date of birth- MY RESPONSE- I am not telling you that information, I have no idea who you are. How about you tell me what it is and I w confirm it for you. They will respond with-I'm sorry but due to the privacy policy I am unable to give you that information. I then laugh and say then why in the hell would I gi you mine. They then get super pissed because SNAP - YOU WIN.
They will keep calling to annoy you but just record the numbers and store under DO NOT ANSWER.

Panthers finance, have rung me on 10 to 15 different mobile numers. They randomly use numbers that are no longer in use.

this no. calls my mobile, after 3 rings hang up. I called back on a private no, and the lady who answered said only her name... Then asked if it was me (called me by name) bit full on if you ask me!

the funny thing about this phone number is that it used to be mine, but i gave it up a year or two ago. I got it from VOIP provider Pennytel, so if these people are harrassing, it may help to also report to Pennytel.

Changed my number because these mongrels threatened 'we will get you in the end' when I was nominee for my Daughter who got into debt. Told me they would continue calling until she returned their calls. Calls went on for 4 months with calls being 6-8 times a day. Number was blocked in my phone but sms would still come through saying I missed the call. The final straw was a 1.30am phone call when my Brother In Law died .Told them it was harrassment as it was her debt and not mine on first phone call . They 'broke' me in the end so changed my number. They are Panthera and they 'buy ' debts off Companies.

@Rodger P, not true - dun & Bradstreet use mobile numbers sometimes.

They are a credit collection company with few scruples. never provide them with your card details if you do admit debt get them to email you with details you can bpay or direct credit on your terms. do not accept that the terms you offer is not acceptable to there system and continue to ask them if they are accepting or not accepting offer eventually they will hang up

I told them I have no money and can't pay. Then they asked me how much I can pay and I then hung up.
