Hi - I just saw another scammer get profiled on a current affair, which made me look into this guy i got scammed from in January for tennis tickets. Over 300 bucks down the drain. Same story, said he lived in Stawell. I submitted a police report but haven't heard anything back - did anyone get any further with it?

I have made a report to Victorian Police re this bloke. The officer is looking into it for me. If she accepts the report, I will let you know of the report number so you can ring them and have your report linked to mine. The more info and links we get on this bloke, the higher the chance is of us tracking him down.

This is fraud and the police will look into catching these scammers if there are several people complaining together. I was also scammed by 0439 566 974 who has already several charges against him. So yes there is hope in catching these thiefs if we stand together!!

I got ripped off 250$ by this guy too. He saw my gumtree ad for tennis tickets and contacted me via sms. Once he got the money he never responded. I have filed a dispute with my bank and will take legal actions if he doesnt return the money. The address he gave me is 55 Smith st, stawell. Account details are Garth Smithson, BSB : 342094, Acc no: 690708412 . This guy is a serial scammer and needs to be caught!!

The same arsehole did the same to me any many others by the sounds of things. And re concert tickets on gum tree. Police say its not fraud, it's a civil matter which I dont' agree with. How can someone continuously sell tickets he never has to numerous people? Fraud in my book. The same low life also uses ph number 0423 511 696

This guy "Steve Tarkan" ripped me off too when I posted a wanted ad on Gumtree. I too text and called him and didn't receive a response or the tickets!

Someone with the number 0402 691 481 contacted me after I put an ad on Gumtree asking for music tickets. He gave me his address and offered for me to come and pick them up. It's a long way from me so I did a bank transfer and he agreed to send my tickets recorded delivery. The tickets haven't arrived. I haven't had any replied to voicemails / emails / text messages I've left for him. Do I have a legal leg to stand on?
