Ends in automated "Goodbye", no voice.

They won't stop ringing. I can't call back, I get an error message.

0402 123 160 rang my mobile at 6:35 pm , an Asian woman who was very hard to understand was saying something I said" we are having Dinner at the moment I thought you scammers were not to ring after 6pm , were are you ringing from".She hung up.

Got a few missed calls at stupid times in the evening.

Blocked number as I keep getting calls from "compare" when you ask them to take you off their list they say they aren't trying to sell you anything and said they will take me off their list but still getting calls.

this number called with a computerised voice saying "goodbye" the hung up. Definitely a spam

When ever you get an unsolicited caller asking for your personal details, ask THEM immediately for the phone details as you are very busy, and you would LOVE to talk , but not now OR ask them for their web address, their name ,and location, then listen for the pauses and stumbles because this is not in their script, TELL them NOTHING, about yourself, then very sweetly, wish them a good day and hang up, it works,Cheers

0402 123 160seems to come from a real estate agent, Domain in Chelsea, the calls are not answered, robotised female voice says goodbye after a time delay, ignore these calls, i cant fathom why they would do this, waste of my valuable time, have a great day, everyone.

Annoying repeat caller that says nothing until a computer voice says 'good bye ' ten seconds later.


When I return the call it says 'optus advises that the number is disconnected '

I have had a few missed calls from them I've answered 2x. First one they call saying they are Compare Energy when asking them how they got my number (which is private & on do not call register) they hang up. You call the number back to only then get played an Optus msg saying the number is disconnected.
2nd time just silence then an automated voice saying Goodbye. Have reported the number a couple of times now.

All it is is a call center dialing random numbers (not in the DO NOT CALL LIST) and compiling a list of valid answered numbers for them to send to their people to bombard you with phone SPAM. This saves them for wasting countless hours having staff waiting for 20+ rings for a phone to ring out etc

Had a call from this number. It was some Indian guy calling from Compare Energy. I told him I wasn't interested and he hung up straight away.

The Telecomunication Ombudsman needs to be taken for a Ride on a Car by the Italian Red Brigade and hopefully he will piss his own pants and do something about those Annoying Indian Telemarketers and Phone Researchers and Fake Charity Phone Collections from Nigeria and China that comes to Australia for a "Holiday" to use the Internet Cafe and once they collect $800,000 Thousand dollars they go back to Nigeria and China. It is a Waste of Tax Payer Money to keep the incompetent (not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully) Telecommunication Ombudsmam.

Frequently calls but hangs up without saying anything

I had a call from this number tonight nobody spoke and then they hung up it's a bit of a coincidence as I got online last night to compare my energy prices

Received a call from this number 0402 123 160 and when I pressed for their company details I was told they are "Compare Energy" and located in North Sydney. It's an Optus number but they are hopeless at making it easy for talk to them about it.

Same here. Phone rings, pick up receiver silence for about 5 seconds then Machine generated "Goodbye" PITA
