This was a scammer message about a charge for an undelivered package.
So, folks.
how about we hit back, and, flood these scam numbers by flooding them with calls day and night

Scam text about a package being held at their depot.

Caller: text from 0401 071 733

You paid Amt. $1969 against Lenovo Intel Core i9Touch Laptop on 2021/05/22. AMAZON#10631415T Call us on ((02) 4786 0110 for query, Thank You

Scam text about item held at their dispatch centre.

This is a scam, they somehow got my name and use that on the SMS message "Hello xxxx - Your item has been held at our distribution centre. Please follow instructions here"

Caller: Scam Message

Put through like a really personal message saying something like, "Wow "my name" super sorry. Was meant to get back to you a week ago. See in "sketchy link"
Careful guys, they're trying to become our friends.

Rcvd message from this number that a new PAYID was setup on Mobile Banking - if this wasnt you cancel by clicking the spam link

No bank mentioned

They texted me saying:

Caller: SMS text to scam websites

SMS texts with links to fraudulent websites

I also received a text about a package - but I wasn't expecting anything. I'll ignore it.

Sent a text message with a link to a website. Said my delivery had been stopped at their depot and that I had to 'resolve the issue' (poor English too 'Ur' instead of 'Your'). I definitely have packages coming in the mail and had to double check my consignment. Absolutely a scam. They had my name though which I am a bit concerned about. Be careful this holiday season! Especially with so many people getting packages delivered.
