They are not a legitimate energy company, they ARE scammers people, WAKE UP! They should be charged for harassment! They ring me several times a day, telling me they are MY energy company and telling me how they are going to provide me with great savings on my electricity bill and all I have to do is provide them with my personal details. (for identity fraud) Surely if they are my energy company, they'd already have my details right? The thing is we are completely solar (with a stand alone system) we do not use standard electricity. When I told the a**hole (always a mans voice) that, he laughed into the phone and said ok ok you got me and said bye and hung up in my ear. Each time they ring, I tell them the same thing over and over and tell them to take me off their call list. Each day they ring back several times a day, they just wont stop! Fed up I saved this number into my phone under SCAMMERS. A week ago a lady rang me on the same number saying she worked for surprise surprise "MY" telecommunications company and was wanting to offer me big discounts on my home phone, internet bundle. She said all she needed was to record me verifying my personal details and agreeing to their contract and I'd be set. Im pretty sure Telstra wouldnt be working from the same number as an Electricity Provider, because I use to work for Telstra. Im on the do not call register and they are still ringing. I dont know how to stop them, cant help you there, but whatever you say or do over the phone to them, FFS do not give them your personal details.

Guy today couldn't tell my what company he was from when I asked he said 'none I sell comparative electricity' when I said that he had to be employed by someone he said he didnt have to tell me. I then said I am on the Do Not Call register (I really am) and he starts screaming abuse at me calling me a liar and saying he does his job correctly. I hung up. How he 'sells' anything I dont know but considering he can tell me what company he works for beware!

They called, I answered, they hung up.
What a waste of peoples time.

okay so this number just called me and from what i just read do they not know that I'm 16 yet i can't pay money for power saving sh*t like its getting annoying and my mum doesn't know how they know my name cause its her name under my phone number not mine.

Thank you so much to my astute friend above - have received numerous calls from this number.
the calls have become more and more persistent and even bordering on emotional blackmail: "Hello XXXX don't you remember me/ You said you would talk to your husband..." etc - We should be protected from this rubbish. I am a professional English speaking woman and feel anxious for those more vulnerable.

Use a number blocking app for mobiles, check out a few before deciding which to use. Some can block all numbers starting with certain digits. But make sure you read the reviews carefully, don't fall for schills, as obviously plenty of apps are scams too!

This number has called me every 3 hours.... I haven't answered ... but instead did reverse call lookup.
Won't be answering now that I've read previous comments....

call too much and annoying

I had been getting regular calls from this number and they keep calling me the wrong name. I told them I didn't know who this person was and they told me they would remove my number. Calls have started again. When I told them I wasn't the person thy were looking for he told me he knew that but since he had my number - and launched into a sales pitch about electricity. I tried to tell him I don't have an electricity account in my name (I don't) and he became quite rude and aggressive. I had to hang up on him. Have tried blocking numbers but they seem to change regularly.

The first call she said it was a serva .then on the same number wen thay rang again thay turned into electric bill thay will help get it cheaper ..and thay had my name wrong ..also I dont have any bills.if thay got my bank account id have bills lol

They kept calling me through hundreds various numbers 'starting with the same few digits' contineouly/often since last year when I did not buy an internet plan they offered for the first time.

(03) 9988 5097 Calls me 3-4 times every 3-5th day. I answer and 'they' hang up...
Also get calls from (07) and (02) numbers, same procedure...
It feels like spying. It is very annoying.
THIS IS A MATTER FOR PROPER POLICE INVESTIGATION!!! Rather than the police
collecting revenue for the State, in all sort of underhanded traffic 'Put Up' jobs.

i'd love to know where they are getting my details from. they keep quoting my work address. they may be a real Company, but they are rude as hell and won't take no for an answer.
