I wish I had seen this list before I called 9988 1680 from a fridge magnet. Had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday, but one that was quite easily fixed by a professional. After paying $290 for the call out, the plumber had a quick look and said it would be $360 on top to replace a small length of pipe, but he had the parts and could do it immediately. Being in a desperate situation (no running water) and having already lost the $290, I realised I would probably pay more than $360 to call someone else on a Sunday afternoon, so I reluctantly agreed. He then said he actually didn't have the parts and would have to come back the next day. When he did, he completed the job in 20 minutes. So $650 for a half hour job that still left our family without water overnight. Disgusting behaviour.

Please don't use this company. they are ripping off people.
I got a plumber to fix a blocked toilet but the plumber had no idea how to fix it but I was charged $530 including a callout fee.
Please DO NOT use this company.

Left fridge magnet in letterbox, wanted to charge $1500 to fix drip leak on pipe at the front of property, didnt even offer pensioners discount until asked, wow what a rip-off

Complete and utter bunch of unprofessional and incompetent people. Thankfully I Googled their number and seen the above comments prior to agreeing them to perform works. They didnt give me the 30min courtesy call before attending the quote, they wouldnt provide me with the plumbers number when I wanted to ask a question and they were rude when I cancelled the work. No branding on their car and they try and talk the talk but couldnt answer simple questions. FAKE trade company. DO NOT USE. They are SCUM

Rip off merchants

Terrible. Called due to blocked drains on a Friday night -asked for $175 which I paid. Came out and said that drains blocked need to clean them. Pretended to clean but said no have to pull toilet apart which they broke. Left and came back Saturday with new toilet - installed and all up charged $1000. 3 weeks later drains blocked. Called them back and asked for $275 to come out as it was a Saturday evening and $600 to clean drains again. RIP OFF. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Don’t use these guys from the magnet they put in your mailbox in Melbourne. Had a blocked toilet, called on a Saturday 7am to book for later that afternoon. I get a call saying they could come earlier but I wasn’t going to be home that why I booked it for the afternoon. Then the plumber decided not to even turn up. The landline number lady just said ‘oh that job was cancelled, someone should have told you’ it was 5.30pm by this stage. Then said they could get someone out but would have to charge an out of hours call out fee. Ummm no, your plumber didn’t turn up why should I get charged?! Safe to say I dodged a bullet!

Bad from beginning to end. Problem wasn't in my house even, he went straight to the high water jet for a ridiculous amount and didnt even rod beforehand. Couldn't find the boundary trap (which is easily found through an app that you download on your phone), just passed the buck.I'm ringing Consumer Affairs. DO NOT USE

I used them for a Saturday evening emergency- Very loud noises and vibrations and tap wouldn't stop running. They would only come out if I prepaid $255 -which I did
- on spot said it would cost $3500 to repair and DIDN'T turn off tap said would fix it on Monday- had to do it myself via You tube!!

Charged $945 for working less than an hour and a half - highly unethical.
That is more money than I earn in a WEEK.

Plumber first went to wrong address and tried to give a quote for the job without having any idea what the problem would be as would first have to bash a hole in the plasterboard to ascertain what was wrong - was actually a tiny leak, easily repaired and quickly done - left hole in the plasterboard and said to get a plasterer!
