(03) 9975 0156 Beware its a Scam. They said they wanted donations for homeless cats who only ate premium cat food...i told them that I was on the do no call register...the person was then abusive and said I was discriminating against cats and asked if I had a dog. I hung up. I am making a complaint to the Do Not Call Register about this number.

Called back today and got an answering machine saying it was an RSPCA raffle. I blocked it, just don't know who is calling.

Thanks for the advice. I went on the site and posted: 'Please remove mobile number ********** from your data base and cease all calls to that number, effective 7th December 2016. Do not contact again via text, email or mail'....Mainly because they ask for an email address when leaving a comment. Just fyi.

Um... forget about the DNC. There are privacy rules in place which mean no organisation (charity or not !) can ring you without you having given them permission in some form at some time.

Also called back number (03) 9975 0156 ... as others have identified it's the RSPCA (or likely some company acting on their behalf) regarding a fundraising raffle. I've been receiving calls from all sorts of different numbers in the last six months (usually insurance companies). My number must be on some list they all share. I'd love to put a beat down on those scumbags who sell these lists. Pray I never find out where you live!!

This number is calling me daily. They are flogging insurance. What good is the DNC register if they can get away with this!

Young lady identified herself from Insight on behalf of the RSPCA. Knew that I had adopted a pet from RSPCA in the past (which is most likely how they got my number). The call was to garner interest in a charity raffle. I asked if there was a website where I could read more information and I was provided with www.rspcaraffle.com.au and a reference number (probably so she could be credited with the sale).
The person I spoke with wasn't rude, was in fact polite. However, I'd rather just make a donation directly to a charity instead of being lured in with a prize.

Polite woman but trying the guilt trip "I'm sure you don't like to hear about animal cruelty, do you". I told her that I am a volunteer at RSPCA (which is true). Nothing more she could say!

As above. Poor lady that called me unfortunately got an ear full. Then her supervisor. What is the point of DNC. DNC is politely, do not disturb. It would be interesting to know how good there hit rate is in tickets sold. How much RSPCA get from it.
Not a nice way to get 'donations'

Time wasting parasite, hung up when I answered.

RSPCA - get your sh*t together and don't annoy people at home. If I annoyed animals you would call it Aggravated Cruelty. !

Trust me when I say you are an aggravating pack of ar*eholes.
