iSelect - really annoying calling me 3 - 5 times everyday it's really easy to get your number removed from their database - took about 30 seconds my time and they were really polite.

Sadly it's in iSelect's Privacy Policy that they may call you with offers etc. When you use the website you agree to the PP.
I only bothered to read it after the fact, after numerous annoying calls.
I did then call the 1300 number and request not only my number be removed, but all of my personal information. We'll see how that works out. ;)
Hilariously, there is an advert for iSelect at the bottom of this page as I write this.

I just enquired about iSelect this afternoon and got a random call from this number (03) 9452 9590 and they hung up. I googled it before I bothered to waste my money calling the number back. I then got an email from iSelect the fact they pranked me bothered me so much immediately I selected unsubscribe then noticed in small print on the web page it took me to an UNSUBSCRIBE ALL link - I'd say you guys need to select that as well to unsubscribe completely. They have to by law it's in the privacy act legislation page 297. We recently went over this at work.

I would if they didn't always hang up when I answered the phone. You Never get a change to talk

Same here, went on their website to compare and it's been non-stop ever since. 9 calls in a few days and each time they just hang up. I honestly just don't see the point in doing business this way, they deserve to fail big time. idiots.

I haven't even finished surfing & they've tried to call me twice!! That would have to be harassment, wouldn't it?

Suggest you all register your numbers on the Australian Government "Do Not Call" Register (to avoid marketing calls): www.donotcall.gov.au

used the iSelect website to compare quotes and received a call from them within 10 minutes. Asked them to call back later as i was busy and they did. I later found another insurer with a better deal and the next day I received another missed call from iSelect so i just called them back and asked to have my number removed and they very kindly removed it. No hassle at all.

I did not use iSelect, but have had 4 calls from this number in the past two days. When I pick up the call (twice) the caller just hangs up without speaking.

Wow. Just wow. How annoying. Even if you click 'call me' and nominate an appropriate time/date to suit, they DO call within five mins, just as described by a number of others!!

NEVER EVER AGAIN will I take a look at the iselect website. After 6 calls I have put a block on their number. Now they are calling my husband and we don't know how they have his number. I HATE this type of harassment.

I have had so many calls since yesterday from this annoying company. I have just signed up up with someone but only after doing all the investigative work myself. ISelect were no help at all. I suggest you answer when they call and tell them not to disturb you ever again.
