This number is not in service, however a phone call was received from it claiming to be from Australian Retirement Program and asked a number of questions about age, income, mortgage. They claim to provide information regarding a Government Incentive program to redirect tax for mortgage reduction, stating that someone will call back in a few days. Needless to say the information I provided was not accurate, but I wanted to see where it was going. I have since informed the Do Not Call register.

I blocked this number after it rang three times and left no message. After I blocked this number, another number allocated to a random surname with a single first initial rang me. This second number was identified on here as someone trying to get personal information under the guise of claiming to be able to retrieve unclaimed tax refunds. NEVER give personal details over the phone.

This is some sort of scam illegally using our phone lines. Our government should be able to catch these bastards and gaol them but typical of our public service, they are just another pack of bludgers wasting our tax dollars.

Called this morning about some gov incentives for people under 58 owning on phone. Rude young man - who would not repeat the name of the organistion so I could confirm the name. When told I was on the DNC register - said it didn't apply to them because I filled in some form - wtf? Never filled in any form. Not connected message when I called back. Reported to the DNC register and will report to ASIC scams.

scam caller - some superannuation tax scheme

This number rang me & hung up when I answered. I called back to find the number is not connected.

Unsolicited call from an older gentleman who said he was from "Australian Retirement" something or other.

They phoned wanting to discuss superannuation options.

I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. When I called back I got a recorded message that the number is not in service.

Stop ringing my number I don't know who you are.
