This was Telstra confirming a booking for NBN to be installed. They had all the details of the appointment and what we had applied for.

Received two calls in two days. They claimed they are from Telstra and wanted to speak with ..... who was not me. I told them I would report them and hung up. seems like a scam

This is Telstra re NBN Connection. I did not give details as they asked me to confirm who I was with full name and date of birth, even though they called me. Because I would not give them details my NBN was not connected and I had to go through the whole process again and wait again. They should have a better system to identify themselves or give us Reference Numbers if they are going to call at all hours to organise these things. How are we supposed to know if they are legit or scam??

This is a legit number. I have had many complaints with Telstra over my NBN connection for multiple addresses and this is the number that calls me back (on multiple occasions) from the complaints team.

Caller: Woman called Vishalli with Indian accent

This is the second call I've had from here asking about my impending NBN connection. I think its a scam...they weren't aware of the same call the previous day. They wanted to know if I had any questions about my NBN connect. I said no, they hung up. I think they get your contact details from a business list and cross reference it with NBN areas that are ready to connect to the NBN then cold call. I don't this has anything to do with Telstra at all.

Yes, this is a legit number. I found the three people who I dealt with over this period (yes, all with Asian accents) extremely helpful, guiding me through connecting to the NBN. Very happy with the service.

NBN is unable to be connected in my property as they need to “build more towers in the area”. So why, 2 months after cancelling my connection order, do I get a call from this number wanting my private information? We received letters threatening to disconnect us, but they can’t connect us

Assumed it was a scam. So unprofessional! Not able to give me the address they were referring to. Eventually hung up due to lack of response. If this is legit then Telstra need to pick up there game!

This IS Telstra. 100% it is a legitimate phone number from Telstra simply doing a nice thing for the customer and confirming the details of the NBN Technician appointment.

If you are rude to them, or yell at them that they’re a scam, you might want to take a second to realise you’re being racist, presumptuous, and best of all, you’re the idiot! If the caller asked for a different name, guess what? They’re human! They’ve rung the wrong number. No need to be so dismissive.

This number is a legitimate Telstra number. They have helped me establish my NBN connection. They sent me the necessary modems etc and got me up and running. I dealt with several people over a week or two. They were great. All fixed and now rolling 👍

Lady called Janet from Telstra. Called around same time I organised a NBN move. Must be a scammer with internal telstra info, as she knew my details etc, but seems a bit suss as was still getting communication from telstra via official avenues. Be careful

Called today about Telstra nbn connection. Did not have to give them any information, this phone number is not a scam.

A hang-up call when I answered. If it was Telstra I don't know why they would be calling me. I do not have an nbn hook up happening or have a complaint in with them.
