Caller: supposedly Telstra

with a 'service checkup call' claiming internet was being used by other people in my area. Very poor connection and hard to hear, and they eventually hung up. Scam, I presume, though I didn't get to what they wanted

Called on a very poor quality line in broken English claiming to be from Telstra, and something about a connection and a password. I challenged him, as I know what number range Telstra calls from Melbourne normally arrive from. He obfuscated and repeated himself, then hung up.

Caller says from Telstra, needs to check connection.
As soon as I said it’s a scam to my partner they hang up.
Can’t call number back as recorded message says unavailable
Scammer!

Person hung up.

Definitely not Telstra. Telstra never call to advise of a service problem......

Phoned back & get a message saying this number is disconnected

Definitely scam caller, hang up.

pretended to be from telstra saying my internet is being used by someone else.
told them i have a tech comapny. she hung up

Called pretending to be Telstra about a disconnected internet line or something.

Obvious scam.

Just had the same experience from that number

I called back the number (03) 9323 4625 but the call was routed to a fax tone
