Rang twice on my phone but cut out before I could answer. After reading this thread I guess it's a sneaky telemarketer hoping I'll call them back.

I went to http://www.clubtelco.com/contact.htmlCall and got contact number (03) 9224 8000. I called them and explained I did not wish to be called again. They registered my number for no calls. If you do not wish to be contacted numerously for weeks (like I was) then try what I did.

Just had one on my mobile. I have had (unfortunately) some dealings with Club Telco (awful company - avoid) in the past but never on that number so I'm guessing they are now reduced to spamming.

Yep, it's ClubTelcos Indian call centre doing the prank calling. Not a good way to follow up with a potential new customer.

This mob rang me, asked for me by name. My phone is actually in my wifes name, yet they asked for me. I now wonder what company that I have registered my phone on have sold these bastards my number. Its not the first time I have been asked for by name.

I got a call from this number - one ring, but no one was there when I picked up. The weird thing is that I rang them back and all I get is an answering machine message that says "this is to confirm that you have been contacted by club Telco". I had just been on the phone to aanet with internet problems (I think the customer service staff are in India), so I don't know if that was a coincidence, I have a silent number. I did fill out a survey about a week ago and have received a few calls since then as well, so not sure where they got my number from. It was funny as the AAnet technical people I rang initially with the problem said I had to speak to customer service who will be there at 10am Australian time, he didn't even know that there are different time zones in Australia - sort of gives it away we are talking to some one in a call centre in a different country.

So so sick of them! Atleast 4-6 times a day 5-6 days a week and usually around dinner time. I have picked up on a few occasions and toldthem nicely to bugger off, seems ill need to be a little clearer next time.

The sales calls are anoying but they are the "best bang for your buck" ISP for ADSL2 plans. I have caller ID & don't pickup.
