It was supposed to be Telstra calling me saying that my internet wifi is compromised. They asked me questions to encourage me to answer to their prompts like “yes” and “right”. I responded a couple of times and then I thought it was a scam so I hung up. I then checked the phone number using Reverse Numbers and found it is a unknown user. I feel that I did the right thing to cancel the call but I feel I may have said too many keywords like “yes” and “right” that they might be able to use for scamming me. So I need to be more alert to calls like this.

Claimed to be James from Amazon (with a thick Indian accent). Advised me that an iPhone had been ordered on my account and asked if I wished to continue with the purchase. When I told him he was full of BS, immediately hung up. Knew my full name however.

Automated message about from Visa and Mastercard something or other. "There has been a charge on your card for X amount for online shopping, press 1 if this is a fraudulent transaction or 2 if you want to approve it". Definitely scam call, by the looks of it spoofing a local number as well.

Caller: This abv number

Caller said they are from Visa Master card security department. She started exagerating, OMG.. You are sure? Have yoy given your card number, do you want me to stop etc etc. Her dramatization irritated me, I asked het put me to a manager. Then comes this morone who claims his name is Steve smith, sounder like a north Indian and started in broken English....My God if I had them in my reach... i wished.
Ofcourse any number of complaints and reviews here are not going to help cos, you will come to site only if there is a bad experience. So my Q us why cant these rascals be blockec once for all.
