rang back will not tell me who they are or why calling unless I give them all my personal details..... no way will I give them out with out knowing who or why

I called back the number (03) 9114 7133 and reached vm that said I reached Milton Graham

Called and left an automated message about a debt, (I have none.) Told me to quote a reference number.

It is totally a scam

I called the listed number for Milton Graham and they had no record of any debt in my name and had nothing regarding that reference number

I get messages of missed phone calls but my phone does not ring. Cant answer messages. No email address on the website...

Sadly it is true, the Federal Govt, specifically Centrelink, have indeed engaged these very aggressive and threatening debt collectors ("Milton Graham") to recover money (allegedly/supposedly) owed. I am repaying a small debt to Centrelink on a fortnightly payment plan; missed one payment and to my shock Centrelink passed all my details to this nasty lot who began hounding me. I am in discussion with Centrelink about this extreme and heartless practice and seeking to get them to retrieve my details from these monsters. I guess because they got so burnt over the "Robodebt" debacle Centrelink has adopted this "take no prisoners" approach with any other debts. Callers above are correct, it is absolutely not on to give personal details; "Milton Graham" methods are unethical at best and illegal to boot. I am going to the relevant Ombudsman about it all. Sigh.

Calling me and then asking for my details to prove who I am is a big No! I've never heard of the federal government going to third parties to recover debt. You'll either be charged or have it taken out of your next tax return.

No Answer so I just hung up

Lady on the phone asking for my personal details & mentioned Milton Graham.... an important letter is send to me.... she stopped talking when I mentioned who is Milton Graham & hanged up.. Scam
