I called back number (03) 9111 5798 reached voice mail for a company called Community Engagement regarding a survey.

Missed the call on my mobile, was left a long winded pre recorded message from someone claiming that if i vote for the coalition, she won't be able to afford to pay for uni. Blocked.

This number called me three days in a row I did not answer as I don't answer calls not on my contact list I have now blocked this number.

Caller: political survey run by noah carroll labor party

had a call from automated political survey yesterday. put out by noah carroll and told to ring (03) 9111 5798 if you have any questions about the survey. you dont find out its for the labor party til its finished or i would have hung up. my question if i can ever get the number to answer is how did they get my number as it is not listed. i have a disability and getting to the phone is a chore . i don't mind if its for a chat with a friend but not for a politician.

started to give female/ pre-recorded stuff about uni student. I cut off after 5 seconds . Now on my mobile's blocked list.

Federal Election Survey : Starts with "My Name Is Elizabeth" If you are to vote press 1 for Lib - 2 for Lab etc etc" Because it was not on my ID list I ignored it - went to voicemail with the whole annoying survey rubbish.

Got a call for an automated survey for federal election. Could not select labor as a choice. Not worth doing as obvious they have a predetermined result they would like.

I get way too many telemarketing calls, so I use the mobile and answering machine to identify and block all the nuisance telemarketing/political calls. Just added (03) 9111 5798 to the list.

Its the politicians trying to win you over with a long long recorded message . totals pam and waste of valuable time and dollars in phone calls that i am sure our taxes pay for !!

Yes, because calling people randomly and bagging your own party would be a fantastic strategy...

I don't know where they're from, but my Reverse Australia app lit up like a Christmas tree. Didn't even bother to call back, because they left a message:

"Hi my name is Kate. I'm a university student studying communication. I grew up in a remote area and...".

My SMS messaging service didn't record the rest. Strangely enough, this call came in at 1.28pm and received the message at 1.30pm.

However, I received a strange phone call at 1.27pm where the caller id was: +000000. Again, I didn't bother with it.

This number has called both mobile and home phone - a pre recorded message from the Labour Party.

Labor party election rubbish, I'm a student from the country blah blah, liberals are planning to make me pay for my education, woe is me.

Have just blocked this number on both my landline and mobile after relentless calls over the past couple of months.
