These people have gotten my home and mobile number somehow. I missed the mobile call, and when I answered the house phone they hung up. When you dial them back, it comes up with a message saying its the NAB bank. However, I've called NAB as I am a client, and they say it's not them. So if you do get a call, don't give out any information as I am sure it's a scam.

Have been getting calls from a blocked number and this number over the past few days. I am a NAB customer. When I answer it is an automated female voice saying 'This is a call from the NAB for (My name), it is not a telemarketing call. If you are (My name) please press 1. If you are not (My name) please do not attempt to authenticate (my name)'s details. It then offers me my month and day of birth and asks me to enter my year of birth. At this point I hung up and called the NAB. They said there was no record of anyone attempting to call me and that this is not how they operate. The NAB worker suggested it was a scam. Interesting previous comment by the NAB worker who stated this would have been a call about credit card insurance!

I get a call same time everyday from this number. I have to ignore it. Unfortunatley, they somehow know my work number too and ring there. They say they are NAB (I am also a NAB customer) and when I check with the bank, they tell me it's not them.

Definately a scam of some type as the above poster has already pointed out. I am also with NAB - are these people somehow finding NAB customers or is this a coincidence? This number should be ignored and blocked if you happen to get more calls from them.

I got a missed call from this number yesterday. I hope it's the first and last. I guess it us a good example of not giving out phone numbers to anyone even banks.

Yes nab being very annoying. I guess if you abuse them you would have a mark against your banking details. Time to switch banks.

They don't leave a message because it may not be your phone. They're bound by the Privacy Act.

Glad I googled this before returning the call. Will be laying a complaing with the real NAB regarding this and blocking the number going forward.

I got the same thing, but it was claiming to be Commonwealth Bank. Wierd.

Is that ok to say yes or no in the phone?

I keep getting calls daily around 4pm. Then they tried at 6:30pm once. I am also a NAB customer and not impressed!

ITS NAB TElling you to make a payment and if no payment is made you will incure fees, its is NAB bank

wow I just signed up to nab fly buys card a few weeks ago, have never been with nab anything before that...

I keep getting calls from this number on my mobile. I think they got it from my internet banking as my mobile number is listed there. I dont' answer it as I don't answer calls from numbers I dont' know. But I am with NAB.

Got the same number calling on my house phone, I'm also a NAB customer and not long ago recieved a sales flyer for NAB credit card insurance, it's normaly the process, they send you out some crap like credit card or life insurance of income protection then ring you a week later, I just tell them they should be the ones getting the insurance!
