Also an NAB Customer - when you call the number the automated voice message says "NAB has recently tried to contact you in relation to one of it's products & Services, we will attempt to call you back later at another time goodbye".
This number has tried to call me 12 times this week - They try my home phone, than my mobile, than my business number! WTF.

Thanks for all the info! I did get a letter from the bank regarding credit card insurance and it stated they will be calling in the next week to follow up. Though I don't understand why they don't leave a message on voicemail explaining who it is.. at least then it wouldn't be so irritating having so many missed calls...

It's all very simple. You're customers of NAB. You give them your details. They're calling you for products and services you may or may not be interested in. If you dislike this kind of marketing, you can opt out. If you switch banks because of this, make sure you opt out there too, or the same thing with happen.
As for the people on the phone, show them a little respect. They're human beings doing a job. If you're not interested, say "I'm not interested". If they ask why, tell them why. If you don't feel like you need to tell them why, tell them you don't need to tell them why. It's not rocket surgery, people. Welcome to the modern world.

Don't answer this number. First, they will try calling you using a Blocked phone number. They have called my work and my mobile. You know it's telemarketers because they never leave a message.

I work at the other end of this number, it's not a scam, we're trying to sell you credit card insurance. If you don't like telemarketers, next time you fill out a bank form, tick the little box that says 'do not contact me in relation to products and services' = Easy Or help a brother out and take the insurance.

Missed calls on mobile and at work. I am with NAB - obviously it is something to do with that, but I am not interested in any products! So I just ignore them all...

They just called me...I said hello- they said "hello, is this ----?" I hung up as a reflex action LOL. After that I thought, crap...what if it was something important? Googled and got to this page. Thanks for clarifying, people.
